last of the third post - In search of Team X members........

Team X, the yesterday Black Op Team of the Marvel Universe.

I will first admit my favourite Team X member is Maverick.....unfortunately this is one mini figure I have not find the head suitable to build up, so I needed some advise on that. I was thinking of using iron fist head and use black marker to shade some part black to look like his mask then throw in a ballistic helmet

sabretooth, victor creed, using one head from the star wars and a tan hair piece as for the body is a winter soldier body,add in a black arm and hand to replace the cybernetic arm of winter soldier. so does it capture the cockiness of victor creed?

wolverine.............I think the custom part are self explained.

I think if I managed to make a maverick mini figure I would make John Wraith, the extract man of the team.

second out fo three post - Spider Women

The women in Spiderman's life-----------------

This is the spider gwen minifigure recently released by the china bootleg brand Xinh, but I decided to swop it with a blue eye female head which is how Gwen Stacy look like in the comic, however with the hoodie on there is no way to have a hair piece on it, not really satisfy with this look but there isn't any blonde hairpiece with a hairband which resemble gwen hair sop that will do for now.

technically this character existent still in doubt as there is only a cover art and not sure if she will appear in a actual comic so, this is a scarlet spider body, a phoenix hair piece and a mary jane head., and trust me there is more spider character coming out, I am still waiting for another bootleg brand to release a ben reilly scarlet spider. :(

I am confidence there is be one since the original lego have released him in the bridge battle playset, so it is just a matter of time I guessed.

first out of three custom post for today (Black Widow)

Opened up another few of the bootleg mini figures and decided to post 3 separate post on them.

Yup, not the original black widow Natasha Romanoff nor the movie Scarlett Johnson but the sometime hero sometime villain - The 2nd Black Widow, Yelena Belova. She was created during the Marvel Knight imprint era.

Last post, I mentioned about some Agent of Shield will be on the way in the future post, and....yes, they will be in future post and not this one....hehe. but this post will be showcasing another group.....the Green Lantern Corps.

Jade - daughter of the first Green Lantern, Alan Scott, she is not a official green lantern corps member despite her costume, she was tasked to guard earth when Kyle Rayner who went to restart the Green Lantern Corps in Space, yes for one time Kyle Rayner is the only active GL in the Universe. Also this custom Jade is made with the she-hulk head which I mentioned in previous post of using her head for another custom and this is it.

John Steward - the first unmasked green lantern if I am not wrong. using a Finn (the force awaken) head and hair part and snapped it in a green lantern body.

Guy Gardener - just change a ginger hair part on a normal green lantern. this is not his famous green lantern uniform but for a time before he became cocky he did wore a mask.

Kyle Rayner - another change the hair piece on a green lantern mini figure and he became a new character

Ok.....this one may not ring a bell to most of you, how about when I say he is the last green lantern in the future?

Parallax infected Hal Jordan. In the Green Lantern Rebirth Mini Series, Geoff John redeem and bring back Hal and reintroduce Parallax as a parasite that possess Hal and caused him to destroy the corps, and the first sign of the infection, the white temple. so getting the hair piece from Mr. Fantastic and we have this version of Hal Jordan.

Nick Fury(s)

I believed nowaday the popular Nick Fury is Samuel Jackson Movie Version. Some may even believe that is the only version. But the post for this will be the comic version, or now as he had been called Nick Fury Senior, just to bring the popular version into the 616 universe.

So this is the original director of shield - Nick Fury. A mr fantastic hairpiece for the grey temple and the shield agent costume.

Here is the cia or spy agent look for Nick Fury used the batman 66' Alfred body (which is the third business suit I slightly hinted in the previous post) and a green lantern Hal Jordan hairpiece for the slightly younger look for Nick Fury.

And this is the one that started it all, Sgt Fury and the howling commandos WW2 look.

Now you may have a question why so more version of him, well that is because for the Nick fury head the online shop needed a minimum purchase and I got nothing else to get other than Nick Fury head (which I think that is the only shop selling) so I got 4 of it. Now u can see the picture on top there is one more head with no body as I don't have any idea to custom yet, I was thinking of max fury a LMD that turned sentinel and evil but yet no suitable body, so I have let the head alone for a while first for now.

And yes, may be those who read this post might guess it, I will be customize some agent of shield from comic.....and a preview of one of them, Nick Fury Junior. Just slapped a movie Nick fury on a Movie Captain America body to get the 616 universe look for him.

A surprise finding of a very useful torso

For a while I was discussing with one of my friend on making a comic version of the iron patriot (norman osborn version) and have tried to use those nexo knight armor on the movie iron patriot body but didn't like how it turned out so was still looking around for the right torso, surprisingly yesterday while going through the spare mini figure parts I have gathered so far..... I found the right torso I need to make the iron patriot, I was really surprising about finding it as the torso was from a badly done Captain America which didn't resemble a Cap mini figure at all. I bought it very soon ago at my workplace and then chuck it somewhere and forget about it and now it come in handy. So what do u think? Very fitting? Anyway anyone know where this torso is from cos I threw away the box and didn't know where this torso is from anymore, but it is definitely not from those usual brand we know of.

The trial of magneto

The most iconic magneto costume should be the red costume with purple cape one. But this purple version won't ring a ring with most of us but yet it is the version that come in the X men sentinel black bird Lego set.

Anyway this costume i believe is the era that prof. X left earth and left the new mutant in the hand of magneto. Yes for a while magneto is the head master of Xavier school for the gifted.

So for this custom, I removed the purple arm and flesh color hand and replace them with flesh color arm and blue glove which would resemble more to the comic cover above. Look better?

She-Hulk

The last 2 posts I often mentioned "that is another custom for another post", I know I will saying this very often in future post, but I will try to clear as much of these statement with the figure to show as possible. So this post will resolve the previous she hulk thing that I mentioned in the fantastic four post. Recently I think one China brand xinh released a she-hulk bootleg mini figure so I manage to get a few to make a few custom she-hulk Mini figures by mixing it with different mini figure part.

This is the xinh version of the she-hulk

Decide to make the FF she-hulk costume to be sleeveless to be more like her comic FF look.

Didn't really like she hulk without the pant, like the look with the Jean, so get the superboy Jean lower torso and fix it onto she hulk. Change the hand to green hand replacing the purple gloves. Anyone like this look as me?

She hulk - agent of shield, for a while the superheroes attorney became an shietold agent. She hulk head with Nick Fury body.

So which version of the she hulk mini figure is your favorite she hulk?

She hulk,green female head is appear again in my upcoming custom.....but that is another custom for another post. :)

On a side note, the eye laser effect part of cyclop and superman is also good to be use for war machine and iron patriot laser cannon effect.

Suit or Man?!

Does the suit make a man or does the man make the suit? This is the theme for my custom figure post today.

But before I go on to show the custom  figures below, let me just talked a bit more. I believe the more I show the custom I modify, everyone who see this blog will get to know which era I began reading comic. (Think the picture of the last custom of this post will be able to explain what I mean) Do feel free to drop me a comment to discuss about comics as I am more of a DC/Marvel guy than other comic such as Image person.

Talking about comment, I didn't realize that it was impossible to leave a comment previously until one post point it out to me. So I made a change to setting so I think that now it should be easy to post comment.

Alright, with the 2 things above mentioned, now....... The custom......

Very obvious this is Tony Stark. Think a lot of people have already make a business suit Tony Stark. I am just glad I manage to make one with a suitable suit torso (what is the business suit torso I use, please see below)

It's morph'in time!!

He is another billionaire from another universe. Mister Bruce Wayne aka Batman. That is the reason I only leave it until now then to mention the business suit torso is from Alfred of batman '66. Got 3 of this torso and who is the 3rd character? That is another story for another post

Here another popular alter ego that a lot of people have also made. Matt Murdock. A Lego business suit torso, change the yellow hand to flesh color hand,added a ginger hair piece and a Hawkeye head and there u have it. The man without fear.

And now the last custom for this post....... Black Suit Superman during the reign of superman storyline where he got a mullet,unfortunely I couldn't find a suitable mullet hair piece so just use a female hair piece and after fixing it it do looked pretty femine and it kind of remind me of the ill fated Nicolas Cage's Superman Lives.
